For the annual Buildner Design competition, The Architect’s Chair, we took a unique approach to chair design. Drawing inspiration from natural structures like bones and trees, which efficiently use resources to adapt to their environment, this chair was designed to minimize material usage while maintaining structural rigidity and a distinctive visual identity. Made from just two sheets of plywood with a cushion mounted between two frames, its construction is both simple and economical, enabling local production and reducing the need for long-distance transportation.
