The best way to reduce waste is to prevent it from being produced in the first place. With its clever design, HOCK minimizes material waste. All materials used in HOCK are 100% renewable or recyclable. A wooden ring serves as the base for the cork seat, ensuring comfortable seating. The seat can be swapped out to extend the product’s lifecycle. The cutout from the circle is repurposed as the base for the entire stool. Three aluminum legs are bolted to both the wooden base and the ring, with no visible holes, emphasizing HOCK’s simplicity.
